कठोपनिषद २.५.१५ –
न तत्र सूर्यो भांति न चन्द्र तारकं नेमा विद्युतो भांति कुतयमग्निः l
तमेव भंतुम अनुभाती सर्वं तस्य भासा सर्वमिदं विभाति ll

kaThopanishad 2.5.15 –
na tatra sUryo bhAti na candra tArakam nemA vidyuto bhAntikuto’yamagnih
tameva bhAntum anubhAti sarvam tasya bhAsA sarvamidam vibhAti


“There, neither the sun, nor the moon, nor the stars, nor the lightning has any radiance; how then can this Fire-लिघत (दिया) illumine It? By Its Light alone, all else in the world illumined”.
