All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong shall not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

John Ronald Reuel Tolkien,
Lord of the Rings

Trivia : Tolkien went by Ronald or J.R.R. Tolkien. The name Tolkien (pronounced: Tol-keen, equal stress on both syllables) is of German origin. It means "foolishly brave," or "stupidly clever." Tolkien's pseudonym was "Oxymore."
